Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Mohammedia

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $700. It will serve about 422 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $700 goes: • Materials: $580 • Permits and inspections: $60 • Tools hire and delivery: $60 Thanks for reading all this. - Huda
