Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Lille
Volunteers in Lille are raising $3,250 for a solar-powered water pump at the Lotus community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,250.
It will serve about 216 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Materials: $2,250
• Permits and inspections: $280
• Safety equipment and signage: $290
• Tools hire and delivery: $430
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Keep going. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
Hope it all works out. More neighborhoods should do this. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Dublin.
