Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Hanoi
Volunteers in Hanoi are raising $400 for a solar-powered water pump at Jacaranda Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 436 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Materials: $330
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
