Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Gujranwala
A community-led a solar-powered water pump at Union Primary School that will serve 349 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $200.
It will serve about 349 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $200 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Materials: $100
