Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Granada
Volunteers in Granada are raising $1,750 for a solar-powered water pump at Maple Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 240 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,400
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $110
Glad we found this place.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Wudil so I could bring a meal. Love from Rohini
