Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Dasmariñas

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 112 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
