Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Bari
Volunteers in Bari are raising $1,400 for a solar-powered water pump at Sycamore Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,400.
It will serve about 263 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Materials: $940
• Permits and inspections: $100
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $265
Thank you so much.

keep going, Giorgia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Bari.
I hope things turn around soon. Love from Leeds.
Sending good thoughts, Giorgia. Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 13 people at work. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this, Giorgia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care
Best of luck. Great idea, hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Bari
