Let's build a skate park together in Zaria
A community-led a skate park at Harmony Park that will serve 266 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 266 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $220
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
