Let's build a skate park together in Santos
Volunteers in Santos are raising $300 for a skate park at the old Acacia bus depot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 105 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $140
• Safety equipment and signage: $100
• Permits and inspections: $60
Glad we found this place.
