Let's build a skate park together in Quetta
Volunteers in Quetta are raising $350 for a skate park at Jacaranda Primary School.
🇵🇰 Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan1,071 views
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 255 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Materials: $250
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending love, Zainab. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
Take care, Zainab. More neighborhoods should do this. Love from Leeds.
