Let's build a skate park together in Montego Bay
Volunteers in Montego Bay are raising $600 for a skate park at Lotus Primary School.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $280, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 537 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:

• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Materials: $455
