Let's build a skate park together in Kochi

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $500. It will serve about 225 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $500 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $100 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Materials: $375 Every share and every dollar helps. - Mohit
