Dnipro
For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $850. It will serve about 552 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $850 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $60 • Permits and inspections: $55 • Materials: $735 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Ihor
