Let's build a skate park together in Ballarat
A community-led a skate park at Liberty Park that will serve 253 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,700.
It will serve about 253 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Materials: $2,850
• Tools hire and delivery: $580
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
