Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Pattaya
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $1,050 for materials.
🇹🇭 Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand307 views
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 126 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Materials: $920
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
I hope life is good to you.

Sending love, Anan. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together. Love from Jalandhar
How is Anan doing now?
Wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 29 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care!
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Anan?
Thank you. If you're in Pattaya I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Let me know if you want more detail.
Keep going, Anan. Shared it with a few friends. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this, Anan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Blessings.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Lucknow.
