Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Yogyakarta
Volunteers in Yogyakarta are raising $600 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the Baobab vacant lot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 203 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
