Help Rafaela with an overdue electricity and water bill before the cold months
Rafaela is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in November and needs $250 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. Rafaela received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless $250 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in November.
Rafaela called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $45 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Rafaela is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Reconnection and late fees: $40
• Down payment on a payment plan: $80
