Wudil

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 520 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $450 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Safety equipment and signage: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $25 Thank you for reading my story.
