Let's build a repair café workshop together in Üsküdar
Volunteers in Üsküdar are raising $950 for a repair café workshop at the Lotus community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $75, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 283 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $950 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
• Materials: $810
• Safety equipment and signage: $90
