Let's build a repair café workshop together in Thiruvananthapuram
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Cedar health centre yard that will serve 164 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $220, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 164 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Permits and inspections: $60
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
