Let's build a repair café workshop together in Stellenbosch
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Union health centre yard that will serve 286 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $850.
It will serve about 286 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $850 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $160
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Materials: $660
