Let's build a repair café workshop together in Semarang
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Pioneer community hall that will serve 483 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 483 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $270
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
