Let's build a repair café workshop together in Saket
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Freedom community hall that will serve 407 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 407 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Materials: $415

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Tarun
Permits and inspections is $60 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for looking so closely.
