Let's build a repair café workshop together in New Delhi

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $150. It will serve about 160 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $150 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $60 • Permits and inspections: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $55 I hope life is good to you.
