Let's build a repair café workshop together in Leeds

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,650. It will serve about 150 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $3,650 goes: • Materials: $2,750 • Permits and inspections: $105 • Safety equipment and signage: $400 • Tools hire and delivery: $395 Thanks for reading all this. - Addison
