Let's build a repair café workshop together in Kochi

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 233 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $165 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $70 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
