Let's build a repair café workshop together in Dnipro
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $800 for materials.
🇺🇦 Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine2,206 views
For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 395 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Materials: $590
• Permits and inspections: $70
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $80
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Good luck. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We're a small family in Likoni but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Likoni
Sending good thoughts, Zoya. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
