Let's build a repair café workshop together in Dammam
Volunteers in Dammam are raising $1,750 for a repair café workshop at Acacia Primary School.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 246 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Materials: $1,500
• Permits and inspections: $70
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
