Let's build a repair café workshop together in Casablanca

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $115, and the remaining cost is $500. It will serve about 479 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $500 goes: • Materials: $300 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $110 • Tools hire and delivery: $65 Every share and every dollar helps. - Nada
