Let's build a repair café workshop together in Campinas

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 384 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $200 goes: • Permits and inspections: $45 • Tools hire and delivery: $50 • Safety equipment and signage: $105 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Jorge
