Let's build a repair café workshop together in Buffalo
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $2,600 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,600.
It will serve about 509 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Materials: $1,250
• Permits and inspections: $320
• Safety equipment and signage: $510
• Tools hire and delivery: $520
