Let's build a repair café workshop together in Braunschweig
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $3,250 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,250.
It will serve about 394 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Materials: $2,550
• Permits and inspections: $115
• Safety equipment and signage: $350
• Tools hire and delivery: $235
