Let's build a repair café workshop together in Beersheba
Volunteers in Beersheba are raising $900 for a repair café workshop at the old Union bus depot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $900.
It will serve about 343 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $900 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $300
• Permits and inspections: $240
• Safety equipment and signage: $360
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Keep going. More neighborhoods should do this. My husband and I read this together. Love from Fortaleza.
sending strength, Yael. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
