Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Zapopan
Volunteers in Zapopan are raising $1,200 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Cedar vacant lot.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 235 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Materials: $1,000
• Tools hire and delivery: $140
• Permits and inspections: $60
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
