Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Thessaloniki
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,200 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $690, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 292 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $690
• Permits and inspections: $165
• Safety equipment and signage: $120
• Tools hire and delivery: $225

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. materials comes first ($690) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
