Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Rohini
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at Acacia Primary School that will serve 460 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 460 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $430
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $105
