Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Pelotas
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,200 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 559 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Materials: $990
• Permits and inspections: $120
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
