Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Mysuru
Volunteers in Mysuru are raising $600 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Sycamore health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 417 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Materials: $470
• Tools hire and delivery: $75

Safety equipment and signage is $55 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
