Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Lucknow
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $350 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 551 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $175
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $15
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
