Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Jerusalem
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,100 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $1,000, and the remaining cost is $1,100.
It will serve about 494 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $330
• Tools hire and delivery: $520
• Permits and inspections: $250
I hope life is good to you.
