Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Granada
Volunteers in Granada are raising $2,150 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Harmony vacant lot.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,150.
It will serve about 508 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Permits and inspections: $155
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Tools hire and delivery: $125
