Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Fresno
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $3,350 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,350.
It will serve about 124 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Materials: $2,500
• Permits and inspections: $270
• Safety equipment and signage: $380
• Tools hire and delivery: $200
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
