Bang Khen
For fifteen years I have run a street-food cart in Bang Khen. In July, a long illness and repossession took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $750 goes: • Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $470 • Working capital for the first month: $150 • Shop repairs and licensing: $130 Thank you for reading my story. - Vilai

  • Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Bang Khen

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators, advice is welcome too. It helps to be asked.

  • Hope it all works out. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
