Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Epe
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the Liberty health centre yard that will serve 437 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 437 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Materials: $380
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
I hope life is good to you.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 20 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Epe.
Hope things get better soon, Yakubu. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Greetings from Rawalpindi
Sending strength, Yakubu. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Tampa.
Wishing you the best, Yakubu. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Thinking of you and your family, Yakubu. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Kota donated after I showed her your page.
