Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Eldoret
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $450 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 597 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $270
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $105
