Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Dresden
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the Maple vacant lot that will serve 189 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,800.
It will serve about 189 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $175
• Materials: $1,250
• Tools hire and delivery: $375
Every share and every dollar helps.
