Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Bogor

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda community hall, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 96 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $260 • Safety equipment and signage: $20 • Tools hire and delivery: $20 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
