Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Badagry
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the old Acacia bus depot that will serve 427 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 427 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $350
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
I hope life is good to you.
