Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Abbottabad
Volunteers in Abbottabad are raising $450 for a rainwater harvesting system at Liberty Park.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 335 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $310
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
