We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $750 for materials.

Zapopan
For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $750. It will serve about 222 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $750 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $100 • Permits and inspections: $55 • Materials: $595 Thanks for being kind about this. - Alberto
